One of the day trips you can do from the bustling city of Taipei is Yehliu Geopark. It has distinct rock formations and a unique landscape. I decided to go during my trip to Taiwan, despite the gloomy weather.

I was in Taipei for a couple days; the nature lover in me wanted to explore the nearby park of Yangmingshan. I postponed my trip to the park because of inclement weather, I waited for a bit of sunshine or at least a non-rainy day (even if it would be cloudy), before deciding to finally go.

Jiufen is one of the places you can visit as a day trip from the bustling city of Taipei. It was my last full day in the country, so I decided to go and explore this part of Taiwan.
