La Union is famous for its surfing waves; however, it also has other attractions that make it a noteworthy province to visit. One of the places to add to your itinerary is Tangadan Falls.

I thought I've seen all that I have to see in Bohol, but a recent trip allowed me to discover a destination not well-known to tourists outside of the nearby barangays and towns. Twin Falls was a pleasant surprise during our media tour to this wonderful province in Visayas.

Laguna is a nearby destination where visitors can do plenty of things such as go caving in Cavinti or visit the many resorts to cool down in. Two of the places you can visit are Hulugan and Aliw Falls.

Cotabato is not exactly the place you go to for a vacation. The stigma of danger still lingers, but our small group of adventure seekers decided to visit the province just to see Asik-Asik Falls.

After hitting the beach, we decided to explore some of the waterfalls and countryside of Occidental Mindoro. The adventure may have been tiring, but it was worth the aches and pains our bodies felt.

I was in Da Lat during my last few days in Vietnam. I was looking for something to do other than go canyoning because it was quite expensive and I was at the tail-end of my budget. A friend who has been to Da Lat told me about Pongour Falls. After seeing some pictures, I decided to head to see the waterfalls.

As I rode the bus from Laguindingan Airport, my mind drifted to the waterfalls in Iligan. I've seen pictures of the waterfalls in Iligan, and I've been waiting for months to finally enjoy the cool waters of Tinago Falls.


Time slowly wilted away as the bus passed by small towns and villages in Northern Mindanao. As the bus inched closer to Iligan City, I could already feel the cold touch of the waterfalls on my skin. The scenery looked so familiar, but as the locals started to speak in Bisaya I knew I was in another place.

I was surprised with what south Cebu has to offer in terms of nature's wonders. Southern Cebu is home to quite a few beautiful waterfalls with clear, cool waters.

Inambakan Falls

After indulging ourselves on scrumptious meals and desserts from Sagada we went on a trek to Pongas Falls to enjoy the wonder of nature. The rolling hills, green blanket of trees, small falls, streams, and rice fields were a feast for the eyes. The trek was a bit tricky because of the narrow pathways we crossed but it was well worth it because of the view.
