Leyte is a beautiful province with plenty to offer. I visited a couple of times en route to somewhere else and as a travel destination. This province is also where my relatives on my father's side live. That's why it is a special place for me. It is home to historic and natural attractions which make it a noteworthy destination in the region.

Lake Danao was part of the itinerary during the promotional trip with the Tourism Promotions Board of the Philippines. I honestly do not know much about Ormoc and its attractions so I was open to discovering what this part of Leyte had to offer.
