Experiencing Hua Hin

You may have already seen Hua Hin's beautiful beaches on a previous trip or you might've come across it while researching for an upcoming one. This coastal destination has more to offer than the usual beach and tropical attractions.

Night Market

Like many parts of Thailand, one of the most common things to do is go to a night market. Some go to these places because of their fanfare and sometimes bizarre happenings, especially in some parts of Bangkok or Phuket. However, you won't see much craziness in Hua Hin. This is a laid back place to grab a few souvenirs and try some street food.

The Local Perspective

Khao Tao Hill Temple is a well-known destination for locals who want to pray to their gods and hope for some good karma. It's an easy hike up with beautiful views of the coast.

If you're Buddhist, this is a nice place to visit during your trip to Hua Hin. It's not so touristy (at least when we were there), so you get to soak in local culture.

The trip to this part of Hua Hin is already worth it because of the views.

The tour we were on also took us to another side of Hua Hin, the local communities that are part of the backbone of their society.

These small industries are interconnected, forming a symbiotic relationship with each other and the region.

Wine in Hua Hin?

When our guide told us about a vineyard and wine tasting in Hua Hin, I was surprised. I always thought that such places were only in temperate and colder countries.

Hua Hin Hills is a great place to taste good wine and food, the staff are accommodating and attentive. The surrounding view of the hills created a peaceful environment, perfect for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This establishment was built on a former elephant corral.

Monsoon Valley Wines are award-winning products made from grapes grown at the vineyard.

Other than wine, Hua Hin Hills has its own restaurant that serves delicious food that is also nice to look at.

The fantastic tasting food capped off a visit to the vineyard.
