India is a massive country with many places different from each other. There is no way to fully experience this country in just a month. I only managed to scratch the surface of this beautiful, yet polarizing nation.

It was my last few days in India. It felt surreal as I watched the countryside zip past me on the train from Kochi to Trichy. There was a calm yet anxious feeling brewing inside me. Is this finally the end of my trip to India or just a taste of new adventures? Would my wandering soul take me back to this beautifully crazy country? Ruminations aside, I kept my mind open on the things I could discover exploring Trichy.

Like many cities in India, Kochi is rich in culture and history that my friend and I were eager to explore. There were several beautiful and historical destinations that made our trip worthwhile.

I did not expect Kochi to have such a vibrant art scene. I'm no art expert but I love to see how creative people get.

Southern India was different from the places I visited in the north. The biggest difference was the temperature, I was freezing every night in Northern India, but as soon as I arrived in Bangalore, I couldn't wait to take my jacket off. Kochi, Kerala was hotter than Bangalore, the weather reminded me of the hot summer days back home in the Philippines. The moment I stepped on the platform, I was eager to explore the beautiful city of Kochi and its surrounding attractions.

I only stayed for a few days in Kerala, specifically Kochi, but that didn't stop me from experiencing some of its culture.

I've heard from friends that Bangalore isn't much of a city to visit, it is the kind of place you live and work in. Nonetheless, I kept an open mind as I wandered around the city.

Udaipur was the last place I visited in Rajasthan. Udaipur was just as chill and relaxed as other parts of the region.

Jodhpur is known as the 'Blue City' because of the many blue structures seen from the Mehrangarh Fort. Exploring this beautiful city was well worth the trip.

After exploring the city, I was aching to try something new --- a desert safari! I have heard good things about the desert safari from friends and fellow travelers who have done it.

Jaisalmer is a fascinating city that has a rich past and beautiful architecture. The havelis of the rich and powerful of Jaisalmer still stand today.

Because it was cold and my pants needed to be washed.

Jaisalmer is by far my favorite city in India. It's laid back ambiance, unique landscapes, and friendly people made me want to stay longer, but alas I couldn't stretch my stay longer because we had train tickets out of the city booked. But during my trip in Jaisalmer, I managed to explore one of the many majestic forts in the region.

Jaisalmer is a laid back town with unique, golden structures that make it my favorite place in Rajasthan. The streets are lined with golden structures that vary in shades as the sun hits its peak till it sets. The historical streets and fort are brimming with life that must have been around for decades. All these make Jaisalmer a fun town to walk around and get lost in.

Jaipur has a lot to offer the intrepid tourist or traveler or nomad or any name you want to call yourself. The city is vibrant with culture and history that dates back hundreds of years ago. I got to visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar during my stay in Jaipur.

India's forts were only warming up during my visit to Agra and Delhi, there were several others all over Rajasthan waiting to be explored. I've set my eyes on Amber Fort as soon as I arrived in Jaipur.

I've heard good things about Rajasthan from friends who have visited the region. Our first stop in Rajasthan was the Pink City of Jaipur. I was looking forward to exploring this region after experiencing the craziness of Delhi, Agra, Kolkata, and Varanasi. The cold wind trickled into the cabin of the train, the Indian countryside whisked by, day turned into night as the sun's limp fingers slowly rested on the other side of the world. It took approximately 6 hours by train --- I was finally in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Delhi isn't just a fast-paced city that attacks the senses from all corners, it is also rich in history and culture. My friend and I managed to visit one of the most prominent ancient ruins in India, Qutub Minar.

Delhi is a fascinating place to visit, with its crazy traffic, poverty, history, and distinct culture. We didn't get to stay long in this crazy, beautiful city, but it was a fun ride nonetheless.

When people mention Agra, the first thing that comes to mind is the Taj Mahal. But there is another noteworthy attraction just a few minutes from the Taj. The Agra Fort is a destination you can't miss while in Agra.

Aside from the Ganges River and the surrounding chaos of Varanasi City, Sarnath Temple is a noteworthy destination for intrepid travelers.
