Play Online Games while in Transit

Travel is fun but there are times when we will wait at a station for our bus or train, or when we are in transit before we get to our destination. During these times we'd want something to occupy our minds and pass the time. One of the things to do is to play online games.

Play Online Games while Waiting

I’ve experienced times when I had to wait for hours or overnight for and during a bus, plane or train ride. These times may seem like they’d take longer because I don’t have much to do. I sometimes read a book or watch a movie on my phone or laptop. Alternatively, if there’s Wi-Fi in the station or airport (or if you have data), you can play online games. Plays.org has plenty of games that are easy to understand and play. The instructions are simple and the games fun, you won’t notice the time pass while trying to beat your previous high score.

Here are some of the games I’ve tried:

Avengers Hydra Dash 

This game reminds me a bit of Temple Run. This games goes through a course where you collect certain items, hit bad guys and perform tasks all on the move. You only get to use Captain America until you unlock the other characters. My hand-eye coordination isn’t as good as it used to be during my peak gamer days (haha).

Space Alien Invaders: Arcade Alien Shooting Video Game

This is a simple game where you shoot the invading aliens until none of them are left. It’s basic and easy to understand. I had fun shooting down the invading aliens while dodging their projectiles. It has a throwback vibe when I used to play old-school games in a family computer.

Rogue One Boots on the Ground

This is a fun game that takes you into the world of Star Wars. You get to shoot Storm Troopers, accomplish some missions, and launch special attacks. There are three characters each with a special attack you can use to hit more Storm Troopers simultaneously. Some of the missions are straightforward such as destroy a convoy, last for an x amount of time, and others. It’s a fun shooting game that helps pass the time while waiting.

Spiderman Mysterio Rush

I played a few Spiderman games (Sega console) growing up so this one was a nostalgic for me. The game is simple as you’d swing through the city trying to complete a few tasks to move on. You collect coins, hit bad guys, and do Spiderman things throughout.

Tank Wars

I vaguely remember playing a game very similar to this one when I was younger, can’t quite remember the name of the game. You control a tank and shoot enemy tanks as simple as that. You have to go through a maze-like setup where you can destroy walls to make it easier to hit enemy tanks. 

X-Wing Fighter

This fun flight/shooting game is another Star Wars-themed one. You shoot down enemy air craft and accomplish missions along the way. You continually fire laser cannons without pressing anything but the cool things is you can hold the space bar to charge and fire a stronger laser blast that hits more target and deals more damage. Try to outmaneuver the multiple enemy aircrafts trying to shoot you down.

Incredible Hulk Chitauri Takedown Smashing Jumper Game

This is a simple and fun game where you get to be the hulk and smash things. You launch the green fella as high as possible and smash enemies along the way to get a high score.

These are just a few of the games I’ve played on plays.org there are several others you can try. Playing online games is just one way to pass the time while you’re in transit to your next destination, while waiting in line, or simply just want to take a break.
