Chongqing has such a large population. In some cases, more people live in it than entire countries' populations. I visited this gigantic metropolis twice during a handful of trips to China. I didn't do much the first time around because I was just passing through. On the second visit, I made a couple of day trips to see more of the region.


I made a guide on what to do, how much you might spend and how to get in and out of Chongqing, based on my experiences.

I was in Chongqing again and looking for more things to do, as I was browsing, I found out about the ancient rock carvings in Dazu. After reading more about it I decided to include it in my itinerary.

The Three Natural Bridges in Wulong is one of the places you can visit as a day trip from Chongqing. These wonders of nature are a sight to behold. The bridges are also part of the Wulong Karst National Geology Park.

The first time I went to Chongqing, I wasn't able to do much because I was simply passing through. I made sure that upon my return I went to some of the attractions within and without one of the biggest cities in China. One of my stops during my visit was Longshuixia Fissure Gorge in Wulong.
