Aiyanar Resort Staycation in Anilao, Batangas

After two diving sessions, I felt tired and hungry. Thankfully Aiyanar Beach & Dive Resort is not only a great place to get a dive license or do discover scuba diving sessions, but it is also a perfect place to relax and unwind.

A Break from Diving

After a tiring session of diving, I was looking forward to enjoying the facilities of Aiyanar Resort. I got a glimpse of the resort the day we arrived from Manila. The staff was all smiles and were attentive to our needs. The resort is nestled quite far from the town center, which makes it perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Depending on your reservation, the room you book comes with full board meals from breakfast to dinner. Yehey for buffet meals from morning till night! I'm no fussy eater, so I really liked the food, it was a plus that I got multiple servings during the meals provided for us. As diving was a tiring activity, we indulged ourselves with the food provided by Aiyanar.

I was impressed with the modern design of the resort. The resort didn't feel closed in on itself with its open spaces and open air public places like the swimming pool, bar, and dining area.

Visitors can relax on the sun chairs by the bar or the lounge area between the dining hall and the rooms.

The bar/dining area is an ideal place to catch up with close friends or share a beautiful evening with drink on hand with a loved one.

The room provided for us was spacious and could fit 4 people comfortably. The beds were soft and the air-conditioning provided just the right amount of cool for a good night's sleep. The toilet and bath were spotless and spacious, and there was warm water for the shower, a definite must after a tiring session of diving. The room also comes with cable TV for those who have enough energy to watch TV after a day of diving.

Trish and I enjoying a lazy mid-morning on the hammocks.

Dennis (Love Mindanao) and I spent the last few hours we had at the resort lounging around the swimming pool. It was the perfect way to end our overnight stay in Aiyanar Beach & Dive Resort.

You can always have world-class and expensive amenities, but nothing beats old fashioned customer service and dedication. Aiyanar's staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay, and it was not only because we were invited to stay there. They treated all the guests in the resort the same way.
