Photoblog: The Different Colors of Hoi An

Hoi An has been on my shortlist of places to visit since I found out it was a UNESCO Heritage Town. As soon as I entered the town, I felt that it would be the best place I would visit during my trip.

The Different Colors of Hoi An

I wandered the streets of Hoi An in the spotlight of daylight and as it was gently lighted by lamp lights and candle-lit paper lanterns floating on the river --- Hoi An is a photogenic town overflowing with life.

I couldn't stop taking pictures, there seemed to be something happening every way I looked. There was something oddly beautiful in the mundane and routine things that people did in this ancient town.

There were a lot of locals taking their pre-nup photo shoot along the river as soon as the candle-lit paper lanterns were cast to drift. There were times when I wish I had a better camera than the point and shoot I was using, but Hoi An was still quite photogenic despite the limitations of the camera I used.
