I knew Iceland was an expensive country to visit but I was determined to see its spectacular landscape and experience what the country has to offer.

Eastern and Central Europe are my favorite regions on the continent. There's something about the countries there that intrigue me (they are also affordable!). This time around I was able to explore Krakow.

Visiting Amsterdam wasn't part of my original plan. However, I got cheap flight tickets to Brussels and figured that it was only a few hours away, so might as well. 

Amsterdam is an interesting city that's quite small but packed with things to do for all types of visitors.

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe (just my opinion). It has an old world charm that I find appealing. The city's old town and attractions are within walking distance from each other. It's also convenient to get around the city on foot and by public transportation. 

Prague is definitely a city I would return to.

Florence is a beautiful city with plenty of museums and art galleries. It also has delicous food and sumptuous wine you'd want to have as often as possible. I spent a few days here during a month long trip around Europe. 

Florence was a highlight and I would recommend others to visit.

Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world. This comes as no surprise because it has plenty of museums, restaurants, attractions, bakeries, iconic structures, quaint cafes, and everything in between. The City of Light has plenty to offer visitors.

I spent a few days in Paris during my trip around Europe.

I thought of Zagreb as a transit destination en route to Dubrovnik, Split or other more famous destinations in Croatia. However, after I arrived, I realized it had a lot to offer visitors.

I know one friend who's been to Split. She had good things to say about the place so when I was planning my itinerary for Croatia I decided to include it. It was on the way back to Zagreb from Dubrovnik so it was an easy decision to make.

I've heard and read good things about Barcelona. When I got my Schengen visa, I was finally able to visit this vibrant city in Spain.

I was eager to travel again after more than two years of not going anywhere. I researched about places to visit during the pandemic and found out I could enter some European countries. One of them was Austria; so I decided to apply for a Schengen visa. I got my visa after a few days and finalized my itinerary, which included Vienna.

Hungary was a country on my must-visit list for Europe. When I finalized my itinerary, I decided to include Budapest because it was easy to enter by land, whether by bus or train. The city is affordable, full of history, plenty of attractions, several museums, many cafes and restaurants, and is easy to explore on foot or by public transportation.

I explored Buda and Pest, and added other places as day trips from the city.

Europe is one of the regions that many people want to visit because of its rich culture, history and stunning views. I was able to get a visa through the Austrian Embassy.
