Travel Guide Budget and Itinerary for Mongolia

By On May 31, 2018
I was in Mongolia for around two weeks; went camping and stayed a little too long in the capital (I was waiting for others to share expenses with for camping). I wanted to visit more places, but it got way too cold and didn't have enough time, maybe I'll return during the warmer months in the future.

Our trip to the Gobi Desert was about to come to an end, before we returned to the big city, we made a stop at the White Mountain.

Into The Gobi Desert

Our main destination for the camping trip in Mongolia was the Gobi Desert. It took a few days through scenic landscapes, extreme weather and long van rides, but it was definitely worth it.

Journey to the Gobi Desert: Rock Formations

By On March 28, 2018
The total number of days of the trip was seven, I was excited to finally begin the journey; I had to wait for a few days before starting my camping trip in Mongolia. It was too expensive to do things on my own, so I waited for other people who planned to do the same thing. Luckily, I met other travelers that came from Russia and wanted to do the same trip to the desert.

Our first stop was the Rock Formations.

Journey to the Gobi Desert: Yolyn Am

By On March 14, 2018
Yolyn Am was part of our itinerary during our trip to the Gobi Desert. The area has a beautiful and rugged landscape that has one of the best sunrises I've seen. The longish road trip to it was worth it as well because of the views.

Journey to the Gobi Desert: The Flaming Cliffs

By On January 19, 2018
I went on a 7-days trip from Ulaanbaatar to the Gobi Desert with stops in between. One of the places included in our itinerary is Bayanzag or also known as the Flaming Cliffs.

Terelj National Park

By On December 08, 2017
It was our last night camping during our 7 days trip to and from the Gobi Desert. Terelj National Park was the final stop; I couldn't help but feel sad that our trip was about to come to an end. I made the most out of it and enjoyed each remaining moment.
