I've been to more than half of the provinces in the Philippines. I've enjoyed my own country's beautiful beaches, lagoons, mountains and other natural attractions. I have a few favorite places I wouldn't mind returning to (and I have returned to a few times).
This my own personal list, check it out.
El Nido
Despite the changes and developments that El Nido underwent throughout the times I've went, it is still one of my favorite places. The beautiful beaches and islands are simply worth a visit. The sunsets are also captivating and are a perfect way to end your day.

Siargao
A lot has changed since my first visit to my most recent one. There are more accommodations, restaurants and bars, there are also more frequent group tours. These changes have not diminished my interest in returning to Siargao. The beaches are beautiful and the vibe is chill.

Coron
Coron has stunning lagoons, fine, white sand beaches, and cerulean-tinged waters. I liked the more chill vibe of this small island compared to El Nido. The latter gets all the crowds and hype. Coron is also a diving haven because of its colorful corals, sunken ships and diverse underwater ecosystem.

Batanes
Batanes has some of the most spectacular landscapes and beachscapes I've seen in the Philippines. The dramatic cliffs, overlooking views, rock formations and rolling hills make for worthy snapshots. The province also has cultural attractions such as old churches and stone houses that will make visitors appreciate this destination more.

Calayan
I was fortunate to be a part of a media trip that went to Calayan Island. This is an underdeveloped, but beautiful destination. The rugged landscapes and stunning beaches make the trip worth it. There were very few tourists and limited accommodation. The rustic and laid back vibe added to Calayan's charm.

Batad
The rice terraces of Batd are breathtaking once you get an overhead, sweeping view of them. The hike to get a bird's eye view is worth it. Batad is a must-visit for nature lovers and hikers alike.

Romblon
Romblon is an idyllic destination where you can go and forget your worries. The white sand beaches, few tourists and bucolic ambiance make it an ideal getaway destination.

Lake Sebu
Lake Sebu's temperature reminded me of Baguio, especially at night and early in the morning. The hike to see some of the waterfalls and the zipline to see them from above were the highlights of my trip to this destination.

These are some of my favorite places in the Philippines. What are your favorite destinations in the Philippines? Feel free to share them with me.
